Newton, Ronaldo saga was a lot difrent... first of all Ronaldo is 23 he has at least 7-8 years to play and he can go to Real a couple of years later and it won't be a disaster, but Dimitar's case is different he is 27 he has reach the pick of his form and every year from now on he will start slowly to lose a bit of his best... that makes his chances to go to Man Utd very weak... After all as a United fan you know that Sir Alex invest in young players often between 18 -20 years it is rear for him to buy 27year old player unlike Madrid's giants who buys only world class players in the end of their careers... i bet my money that Ronaldo will follow Beckham and Nistelroy someday and he will see his dream wasn't worth it...
