SoccerwayHooligan,
on Blatter concern over foreign investors (20)
It takes one idiot to recognise another. And what makes you the great expert in soccer matters, in the first place ? |

I'm also against the European Union and I could use a few choice sentences to let everybody know what I think of them !!! However, from time to time we should all remind ourselves that this is not a political forum, it's a blog where all lovers of the Beautiful Game exchange opinions !!!! |

Chelsea4ever is referring to Switzerland (in his first message), because Blatter is Swiss. And it's Switzerland that doesn't want to join the EU. Good for them !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

The end justifies the means and if Inter should win Champions League by playing 4-5-1 defensive football, I really won't mind, regardless of what anyone else may have to say (and I'm sure quite a few individuals on this blog will have plenty to say). |

Platini is Blatter's puppet, that's why he is so vocal against video technology.
on LMA ´astonished´ by Platini attack on Wenger (17)
Which is a great pity, because it has been shown that video technology works so well in rugby and in cricket. So why should soccer be any different ? Platini was a bad choice for UEFA president, in the first place. But then he is obviuosly not the president of a sporting organisation, he is just another politician !!! |

The lack of video replay in soccer very often distorts the end result of a match, or even a competition like a World Cup.
on LMA ´astonished´ by Platini attack on Wenger (17)
As an example, if video technology had been used, it's possible that Argentina might never have won the WC in 1986 and they would not have reached the final in 1990. With video technology, players would be much more careful of the way the behave on the pitch. And it's simply not true that video replay would interfere with the flow of the game. In any soccer game, the average "playing" time is about 42 to 47 minutes. The rest of the time is wasted in getting ready for free kicks, arguing with the referee, etc. |

on Borriello turning into Milan´s top man (8)
It's also true that Milan keeps, and has kept, Italian players until they retire, i.e. Maldini, Costacurta, Baresi, Ambrosini, Gattuso, Ancelotti, Tassotti, etc. |
