Lahm: Germany have ´marched´ through Group B

Germany captain Philipp Lahm expressed his pride at the way in which his side 'marched' their way through Group B.
The Germans did not have things all their own way in their games against Portugal, Netherlands and Denmark but after qualifying for the quarter-finals with a perfect record, the Bayern Munich full-back feels Joachim Loew's men can approach the knockout stages with real confidence.
"Every match in this group was difficult," Lahm told reporters after Sunday evening's 2-1 victory over the Danes.
"But when you get three wins in three matches then you have marched through the group."
Meanwhile, Lahm's team-mate Sami Khedira was pleased Germany had got the better of a Denmark side he felt had only set out to frustrate and is now looking forward to the quarter-final showdown with Greece.
"I am very happy and satisfied," the Real Madrid midfielder confessed.
"It is always easier when the opponent tries to play as well but that the Danes weren't going to do that was clear.
"We took a step in this game and just have to follow up now. We won't underestimate the Greeks."
Germany's encounter against Fernando Santos' side will take place in Gdansk on June 22.
