Rangers FC remain on course for four trophies after Barry Ferguson's 74th-minute goal gave them a 1-0 win against Motherwell FC in the Scottish Premier League.

The result moves the UEFA Cup finalists four points behind Glasgow rivals Celtic FC, but Walter Smith's side have two games in hand. Rangers have four league matches to play and face FC Zenit St. Petersburg in Manchester for European honours on 14 May.
