Wes Brown of Manchester United
  Wes Brown of Manchester United
Manchester United defender Wes Brown has spoken of his pride at playing 50 matches for the club this season. The 28-year-old has become a key member of the team - playing more times than any other United player - as they go for glory in the Barclays Premier League and Champions League.

Not only has Manchester-born Brown shaped up well at right-back in the year-long absence of Gary Neville, he has also looked good in the heart of the defence when called on to replace the injured Nemanja Vidic.

Sir Alex Ferguson's side have conceded only 22 goals in 37 league fixtures, which has put them in the position of needing a victory against Wigan Athletic next Sunday to retain the Premier League title.

Wasn't Wes Brown complaining about wanting better wages a few weeks ago, adn now he's the most capped player this season?
