BERLIN (AFP) - German international striker Lukas Podolski, frustrated by his lack of first team opportunities, has refused to rule out leaving Bayern Munich in the summer.
"I've had enough of being on the bench," Podolski tells Friday's edition of the Bild newspaper.
Since his arrival in 2006, Podolski has seen his career take a back seat to Bayern's preferred partnership of international teammate Miroslav Klose and Italian star Luca Toni.
The 22-year-old, who is under contract until 2010, said he will ponder his future at the end of the season.
Bayern manager Uli Hoeness said in February that Jurgen Klinsmann, who will take over as coach in the summer, has already vetoed any possible move by Podolski, a protege of the former German international.
Podolski has played just 16 times this season despite having an impressive international record with a goals tally of 25.
