Roda JC beat top-flight rivals Heracles Almelo on penalties to reach the Dutch Cup final. Roda won 5-4 on spot-kicks after a 2-2 draw spanning 120 minutes to set up a final against Feyenoord in Rotterdam on 27 April.

Heracles, who had home advantage, scored early in the first half and late in the second, goals from Gonzalo García-García and Ricky van den Bergh sandwiching strikes by Roda's Marcel Meeuwis and Willem Janssen. Sekou Cissé converted the decisive penalty for the Kerkrade club.
