FC Schalke 04 recovered from going a goal down to beat lowly MSV Duisburg 2-1 in the Bundesliga on Friday after facing a chorus of boos at half-time. Germany defender Heiko Westermann scored the winner in the 74th minute.

"We had a hard time finding the openings," said Schalke coach Mirko Slomka. "Then we threw everything at them and were able to turn it around." Schalke stay fifth with 41 points.
