BASEL, Switzerland (AFP) - Switzerland beat group winners Portugal 2-0 in their Euro 2008 group A match here on Sunday, Hakan Yakin scoring twice in the second half, once from the penalty spot.

Despite the win, the Swiss co-hosts finish bottom of the group after garnering their first points.
