Raymond Domenech has survived the sack with the French Football Federation announcing Thursday that he had kept his job as manager despite France´s poor showing at Euro 2008.

The victories were in friendly games against poor teams. what counts is when you are in the tournament. 1 draw, 2 killing defeats, that is the result of Euro 2008.
Italy took two days to kill donadoni and he went to the quarters.
May be this is why italy has 4 stars on their shirt and france only 1.
i dont understand why he kept his job, is this a joke to the french, the rench probly could have won the euro if it wasnt for domenech, france have the players to do that sort of thing.............
well now thanks to Domenech france is now in 10 place in fifa ranking......................france could do much, much, better
Domenech surely has a very powerful god father, when i hear people saying he won 30 out of 54, most of those matches won he played little or on known teams, very poor for french football,

Giorgio, it never fails! The above stellar minds are negletting more important issues just to discuss Italy's Olympic Team. No wonder Italy is television's most watched soccer team in the world! As a matter of fact, I would make a great coach. I have the talent, the experience and the will. All I need is someone from the Italian Federation to believe in me!. Under my leadership, Italy, always retaining the best defense in the world, would also have the best attack in the world. Ajax72, at least, would appreciate that!

Italians aloways arise passions, one way or the other. It's just too bad for these losers that we are winners.
