LONDON (AFP) - Premiership champions Chelsea eased into the last 16 of the FA Cup with a 3-0 win at home to Nottingham Forest here at Stamford Bridge.

First-half goals from Andriy Shevchenko, Didier Drogba and John Obi Mikel on saw the Blues overpower Forest, twice winners of the European Cup but now in League One, the third division of English professional football.

Earlier Sunday, West Browmich Albion continued their FA Cup campaign with a 3-0 win away to arch West Midlands rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Goals either side of half-time from Diomansy Kamara and Kevin Phillips put Albion, chasing promotion to the Premiership, in a strong position against their fellow team from the second-tier Championship before Zoltan Gera added a third 12 minutes from the finish.

In Sunday´s other FA Cup ties, Premiership side Manchester City are at home to Championship contenders Southampton while, in London, top-flight rivals Arsenal and Bolton go head-to-head at the Emirates Stadium.
