BARCELONA, Nov 29 (SW) – Barcelona’s and Brazil’s playmaker Ronaldinho has been named as Barcelona’s captain for the Club World Cup which is due to start in Japan next month.

Barcelona ahs picked a strong side but will be leaving their two injured strikers Samuel Eto’o and Lionel Messi at home.

The Club World Cup is a tournament for the continental champions of each of the six FIFA confederations.

The European champions will be joined by Internacional (South America), America (CONCACAF), Al Ahly (Africa), Chonbuk Motors (Asia) and Auckland City (Oceania).
