NANCY, Feb 8 (SW) - Nancy reached their first cup final since 1978 on Wednesday as they comfortably defeated Le Mans 2-0 in their League Cup semi-final at the Stade Marcel Picot.

The home side took the advantage in the 44th minute when Jonathan Brison got into the Le Mans area and beat goalkeeper Yohan Pelé from close range to send them to the dressing room with a lead.

They then put the game out of question on 60 minutes as full-back Manuel da Costa made easy work of the Le Mans defense and hit a nice shot beyond Pelé from the edge of the penalty area to seal the win.

Nancy will now meet Nice in the final on 22 April with the winner earning a spot in the UEFA Cup.
