Spanish teams do as expected

PAMPLONA, Sep 28 (SW) - All Spanish teams did as expected as Osasuna, Celta Vigo, Espanyol and Sevilla all advance to the second round in the UEFA Cup.

Osasuna - Trabzonspor 0-0
Osasuna win on away goals, 2-2 on aggregate
The Spanish hosts held Trabzonspor to a goalless draw in the north of Spain, and this is enough to advance to the group phase due to the away goals scored in the 2-2 draw two weeks ago.

Celta de Vigo - Standard Liege 3-0
Celta de Vigo win 4-0 on aggregate
After already haven beaten Standard by one goal in the first leg, things were a lot easier for Celta in the second. Fernando Baiano opened the score after 21 minutes and Ernesto Fabian Canobbio really decided the game in the 70th.

A third goal was added by Baiano with eight minutes left to play in regular time.

Espanyol - Artmedia 3-1

After their 2-2 draw in the first leg and conceding a goal from Jan Buryan in the 14th minutes, things began to look bad for Espanyol.

But Walter Pandiani levelled the score five minutes later and Ferran Corominas put the Spaniards ahead in the 66th. When Pandiani netted another with ten minutes ago, the Slovakians were left without hope.

Sevilla - Atromitos 4-0
Sevilla win 6-1 on aggregate
Atromitos could not have had a worse start in Sevilla. Georgios Georgiou scored an own goal in the very first minute and Dimitrios Ioannou repeated that nine minutes later to give the hosts a comfortable lead.

Luis Fabiano scored Sevilla's first regular goal in the 29th minute and the Brazilian also took care of his side's fourth in the 86th minute.
