LONDON, Nov 12 (SW) – The draw for the quarter – finals of the League Cup was made here yesterday.

Of most interest would have been to see who giant – killers Southend would have been drawn against.

They were drawn away to Tottenham Hotspur.

Match of the round is bound to be the clash between Liverpool and Arsenal at Anfield.

Two of the three Premier League clubs in the relegation zone are also involved in the draw. Newcastle United face Chelsea at St. James Park while Charlton face Wycombe Wanderers at The Valley.
