GUADALAJARA, Dec 11 (Sw) - Chivas Guadalajara has won the Mexican championship title for the 11th time after winning the second leg of the play-off final 2-1 against Toluca.
Chivas were the underdogs after the first leg in Guadalajara ended in a 1-1 draw. Toluca even grabbed the lead when Vicente Sanchez headed home on 18 minutes at Bombonera. Rodriguez and Bautista pulled Chivas past Toluca in the second half to grab to trophy.
It is the first title for Guadalajara in nine years and competes with America for the highest number of titles. The latter have ten so far.
