Prices for San Siro match slashed

MILAN, Dec 5 (SW) – In an effort to boost the number of spectators attending Wednesday’s Champions League match against Lille at the San Siro AC Milan have slashed the price of their tickets for the match.
Attendances in Italy have dropped dramatically this year and only 1 800 people attended AC Milan’s cup tie against Brescia last month.
Entrance to tomorrow night’s match will cost a mere €1 which has to be a record low price in the history of the Champions League.
The decision taken is to try and avoid another low turnout at the 80 000 capacity ground and also because AC Milan have already qualified for the round of 16 and they have nine first team players injured.
