Werder Bremen vs. Borussia Dortmund

Mesut Özil came close early on for Bremen, but was denied by Dortmund goalkeeper Roman Weidenfeller, and Dortmund saw their first chance a few minutes later when ex-Bremen striker Nelson Haedo Valdez fired wide.

The match plodded along until the 36th minute when Özil fired Bremen in front, volleying home nicely after a fine cross by Aaron Hunt.

But Barrios kept up his goalscoring tear, tallying for the fifth straight game on 54 minutes. Barrios played pouncer in the area when he tapped past Tim Wiese, who had just parried a shot away.

Dortmund should have been in front later in the second half, but Neven Subotic blazed a drive over the top of Wiese's goal, and Valdez, too, came close at the end for the visitors with a nice save by Wiese preserving the draw.
